Brainstorming

Set a timer for 10 minutes. Open the tracking spreadsheet and start adding as many names as you can think of in the first column. Don’t add any of their details just yet, only add their names. 

The important part of brainstorming is there are no bad ideas. Don’t eliminate names before you even add them to the list. Add everyone you can think of now. 

Here are some categories to think through:

• Friends
• Family
• People from church
• People you already serve with (at church, former camps, etc.)
• Classmates 
• Neighbours
• Mentors
• People who have encouraged you to pursue the internship
• Your parents’ friends
• Parents and relatives of close friends
• People you interact with the most on social media
• Co-workers
