Organizing Your List

In order to decide who to contact first it can be helpful to break down your list into three groups.

Group 1: These are the people closest to you who are easiest to invite into partnership.

Group 2: You don’t know these people quite as well, but you still feel comfortable about inviting them to partner with you.

Group 3: It feels like a stretch to invite these people, but you will initiate and see how they respond.

Notice there is no “do not contact” category? If someone doesn’t fit into one of these three groups you can create a “not yet” group, but don’t delete them from your list. You never know how God might be working in their life and how they might respond. Maybe there is a reason why this “random” person popped into your mind.

As you start to contact people, it can be helpful to start with the people you are most comfortable with in group one and work your way through your list to group two and then group three. But be aware of the opportunities God presents to you and be aware of how much time you have.
